Rhapsody in West, our residential complex in Amsterdam, was festively opened on Thursday 4 July. The theme of the opening was "Local flavors". In the inner garden stories from local artists were told, music played and special snacks handed out.
In four years, an empty site on the A10 in Amsterdam's Kolenkitbuurt has been transformed into a bustling residential location and anchorage for the neighborhood.
Paul Oremus, Country Manager Netherlands CBRE Global Investors (owner of Rhapsody) spoke of a new course for CBRE. The American investment organization is going to focus more on
sustainable projects. "Rhapsody shows what the future will be," said Oremus. The residential complex is not only extremely energy efficient (it's a energy plant) but also
innovative and future-proof in other areas.
